So in my view its totally review bombing because some ppl are butthurt. Also there is no lie about the Dreadnaught, because people cant read the whole description of the DLC shopsite. It is miles better than the lore character DLC. The Dreadnought is cool to use despite its limitation, and I liked the increased challenge, so I am still glad I took it, as it offered me a good reason to return to the game. Originally posted by Connatic:Is the DLC really that bad, or was it just Review Bombed because the devs weren't clear(lied?) about what role the Dreadnaught plays in the DLC? My personal opinion is that the DLC is still good, but as the main game, it has a lot of frustrating elements that worsen the experience. It is usually possible to just lose a single ones without taking unecessary risks in these missions, or 2 if you are in a tight spot, but I feel like there is a higher chance of losing your squad than losing 3 purifiers. I sent Lunette walk to a secured purifier by herself while my squad took care of another one at one point.ģ) You can also just run for the last purifier, which makes things easy. Sometimes, a single patrol will guard 2 purifiers, and it is much better to go for an undefended one that to confront the patrol that will appear with the threatened purifier. However, there are a few things that make them much easier:ġ) Refuse the extra deed: the reward is paltry, and the mission is hard enough like that.Ģ) Once the first "corrupted purifier" event pops, ignore it, unless it is the closest one, and go for the least defended one. They can be very frustrating, because they are quite hard, and Lunette is not a great combat asset. The rewards are not much, but completing the second will unlock the (very hard) frigate recovery mission, and the third will unlock new tiers for the dreadnought and Techmarine gear.
